On the August bank holiday weekend, we joined with Big Church Festival to unite around a shared mission: to support children living in Ghana’s Savannah Region. It was such a joy to come together in worship and action!
We had an incredible weekend seeing churches and individuals lifting the name of Jesus and we were deeply moved by hearing so many powerful testimonies from Compassion graduates.
Where Jesus leads, we move with compassion!
We’re thrilled to share that 757 children will find out this week that they have a sponsor in the UK who is praying for them and standing with them. A massive thank you to every person at Big Church Festival who responded faithfully and generously. Together, we’ve begun an incredible movement of hope and transformation, enabling so many children to begin the journey of being released from poverty.
If you were prayerfully considering over the weekend whether to sponsor, there’s still time to get involved. Sponsorship tells a child they’re seen and loved by God, while opening doors to education, healthcare, and a brighter future.
Make a difference today by sponsoring a child in the Savannah region of Ghana.
Over the weekend, we also launched a vital water project, bringing clean, safe water to two communities. It’s also not too late to donate and support these two new boreholes in the Savannah region bringing transformed health, education and opportunity for children and their families.
A massive thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and volunteered with Compassion at the event. We’re so grateful to all those who stepped forward to serve — we couldn’t have done it without you!
